Checking my rat colony yesterday, must admit I'm pleased with the litter sizes _________________

That's possibly and idea for the next competition, instead of jelly beans in a jar.
Wow that's a fair few, will they be with you long? _________________ “If in doubt, just say nowt” |

Thought that might be the case, was just looking for a delicate way to put it in case they were for once (on a reptile site) pets. _________________ “If in doubt, just say nowt” |

One of these
(Excuse the mess on the floor )
How many babies did they have each? They must surely be reaching full capacity looking at the number you've got? _________________ Sophie

That is a hugmungous litter How many on average do you get per litter?
Do you keep the adults in groups or pairs? It's just I was thinking of setting up a rat colony but best to know how many they produce before I start. _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |

small confession, that was actually from 4 females but on average I get 8-10 from group housed females and 14-22 from females that birth in seperate cages.
There was approx 56 in that cage above (average of 14) so it was still a great litter. Click on my main website, go to the care and breeding section, then Rodent Breeding Systems, plenty of info there _________________
