Quick question, do you leave a heat lamp on overnight or turn it off and let the temp drop?

With the change in weather most people leave there central heating on so allowing the viv to drop to room temp is fine for most.

Also, what species is it? What type of heating? and what is your ambient house temp for that room?

stenodactylus, no thermostat, 100watt bulb, 3ft tank. temp drops to about 65-70 at night.

I've found stenos do better with a mat not a bulb.If you watch them they lie flat on warm surfaces to absorb heat from below not above.
65-70F by night is ok.Mine are getting cooled soon so will be at about that by day. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
