My first snake was a Kenyan sand boa which I got last September (04). Lizards are my main love in the hobby so it was a while before I got a reptile with no legs. Very Happy

Pueblan Apricot Milksnake was my first snake. Now I've got 10 soon to be 12. Just waiting to collect my Cali Kingsnake this week and baby BRB probably the week after Very Happy

That will complete my collection.

My first was a garter of some description when I was twelve or so. I still regret the death of that snake, as it could have been prevented by either more research on my part or more truthful sales chatter from the pet shop I bought 'her' from - no, a regular desk lamp outside the tank does not provide enough heat for a snake to digest.

That doesn't count the bull snake my dad brought home from work one day when I was around six or so - he was released into the garden and promptly set up house in the next-door-neighbor's brush pile.
