Just out of interest, Scott - do you monitor the humidity on your Cresteds? |
Nope, not technically anyway, just by 'eye' in terms of their general well being and sloughing sucess etc.
With the adults I don't actually EVER spray the vivs, instead I provide a humid nest box 365 days of the year. They spend time in there when they need it (ie shedding and egg laying). _________________

Yeah, that's what I do. Just check the substrate make sure it's not getting too damp/dry and keep an eye on the Crestie's. Never really had a problem. _________________ 0.1.0 - Royal Pythons

I've changed the substrate over today, he's only a baba so Ive put him on the water retentive kitchen towels and he seems happy enough.. Humidity has been great and even the last few days and so has the temperature. So I am happy, now just for him to actually do some growing.. _________________ 2.3 Leopard Geckos Coming Soon

Now that's the hard part Bryan...
We've had our original Crestie's for 7 to 8 mths now and still they're nowhere near full grown... _________________ 0.1.0 - Royal Pythons
