Where I can get decent quality glass door runners?

I have seen loads of the plastic ones, but want something better. I have seen some really good quality ones on some Viv's in the shops.

Short of taking a screwdriver with me and prizing them off. I'm stuck.

i had aluminium runners with ball bearings for the glass to run on but they are expensive, i think for top and bottom on a 4ft viv you are talking around £40, im gonna get a set for my new viv as my glass is so heavy its having trouble sliding on the plastic ones, im getting mine from a glaziers, i think if you ring around builders yards and glaziers you will be able to find them, they are noisy though! good luck

i got my aluminum runners from a glass place, i phoned about and out of
four shops i called only two could get them so i got it from the cheaper one, but it wasn't cheep and i had i world of pain dealing with the shop!!
but i did need 10ft for the top and bottom and 14ft for both sides, the i think i payed nearly £200 for that lot with the glass, the bottom has wheels
in to make the glass slide. The shop didn't get in enough in the end and after 2 weeks waiting i gave up and went to b+q and got some lengths
of aluminum runner it looks almost the same just thinner, but if your Viv isn't massive its fine and cheaper!
