Im after some ackies and found one which i believe is male but can someone post pics of males and females.
I have only ever had geckos and the odd bearded so a bit unsure on how obvious male bulges and pores are

no real bulges or pores, easiest way is spurs or the base of the tail on either side, males are very pronounced females not so much.

Head shape and size are other indicators but it helps to select animals from a larger group and then choose two from either end of the spectrum

probably better to get a sexed pair then!
i know how difficult beardies can be!

They are not easy to sex as far as I am concerned.
I have had 2 for nearly 3 years and have only just found out they are a pair when eggs appeared a few days ago.

If they are young look at the tails its a give away, maletails go straight from big to small and the females go from´some what small to big and then back to small, all in the order from the body to the tailtip, hindfeet is another give away males tend to have bigger, goes 100% for all of mine and ofcourse the bigger head of males as they mature.

I have a group of 4 juvenile ackies, I was told that as they mature the sex will be determined by one becoming more dominant, they are now grown on but not fully adult yet, they are showing signs of mating behaviour but they are all at it like rabbits with each other and I have no idea who is what sex! The plan was to keep 2 of the 4 when we are sure we have a male and a female, and sell the other 2. I will certainly try the suggestion of looking at their tails.

I have heard the same thing many times but there is no solid proof to support it, the mating behaviour could just be dominance, both sexes will do it.
