Just Irish moss peat, make sure it has NO added fertilisers etc

It's about £5 for a 100 litre bag/sack.

I was using it for my 2 crested juvies when they were a bit smaller, in a faunarium type enclosure. I recently swapped to newspaper, as I found it was getting a bit smelly too quickly (bigger geckos bigger craps Wink). I still mist them each evening and they have had no problems shedding up to now

I have a great colony of 'something' living in my grown on crestie viv, they are little white worms and they keep the peat substrate of a viv of 12 absolutely spotless

I have those in my main well planted viv, totally odour free and spotless also. Didn't seem to happen with my small plastic tank enclosure though. Ventilation is nowhere near as good as the exo terras so perhaps the 'things' don't thrive the same
