--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am just about to get a Bosc. Does anyone think that 5foot (width) by 4 foot (deep) by 31/2foot (tall) tank is too small? it is going in the corner of my room and need it to fit so i can still have my bed in there as well lol. Or do you think it should be bigger, I will make two levels in the tank so the bosc will use all the room in there. As well as 2/3 hides and a decent basking spot.
i need to start building soon so please comment,
Thanks for all your replies _________________ Curently Keeping:

Those dimensions will work but an extra FT on the width would be better. |

ok so it would be better to make it 5ft squared? i will measure my area in the room tonight and see if that is possible. If not is the original sizes okay?

Though 5x5 would be even better, as one is 25sq feet, the other 24sq feet _________________

True that would give you an extra square ft of floor space , but with a 6x4 you will get a wider temp range for the animal to choose from . |

Hi.
personally i would make it twice as long as the length of the animal when adult. that would possibly be arond the 4 foot mark if male 3 foot plus if female. so 8'x4'x4' would be fairer to the animal. also provide a deep dirt/sand substrate.
regards. |
