MMMMMM
IN my local pet shop who have recently started(after much encouragement from me and others) dealing with with reptiles have got a boa constrictor. It is 10 foot long and weighs 70lb and is supposed to be male. Is a great feeder and dog tame. local people/shopkeepers have been having there photos taken with it draped around there shoulders.
Unfortunately it is sold, i probably would ahve come home with it otherwise(would it squeeze into a contico)
If I can get to weigh it while I am there and it is 70lb, is this a possible u.k. record.
According to http://www.boa-constrictors.com/com/sizeofboas.html who says the largest boa in germany is 60lb
this one one mother of a boa.
Not being a boa person I may be getting excited for nothing.

the block who sold the boa to the shop has another one which is supposed to be bigger, his intention was to breed but said nothing happened, so possible 2 females.
cheers
