My tristis were out tonight, I moved them up to the highest viv, since then they seem a lot more brave, not sure if it's because they are now looking down at me? (I'm being serious with that! ) |
sorry Scott made me chuckle.. |

How are the peacocks doing Jas? iv'e had to put mine on a diet as they were getting very fat. reading through your posts, one thing is very true, they soon loose their shyness when foods about. mine strike the tongs like my Argus used to.
p.s the Ackie i bought from you has turned out to be a real cracker.

Thats good to hear about the Ackie, any idea what sex it is?
I dont have the Peacocks no more, the last went Saturday just gone. I just found them too shy and would only see them when there was food on offer,Cheers. _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk

Hi Jas.
yes, its a male. i have paired him up with a female, but no mating as yet. female doesn't seem keen. have you any tips/ideas about diet for peacocks. i have cut down rodents/meat to once a month & i feed insects every other day. they haven't noticeably lost any weight. they have been on a diet for approx 2 months. pretty sure none are gravid. not 100% sure on sex but think i have one of each sex.
regards. |
