Thanks guys - the common name is Smooth prehensile tailed gecko or the other common name I call them is Sarasin's gecko.
The incubation was exactly how I incubate my cresties and gargoyles - 76 degrees on a perlite base and it took just over 70 days to hatch.
Scott - I've sold things in the past and really regretted it later including a royal which turned out to be het albino and a male classic corn which I bred with a female normal then sold - the babies came out classic, amel, snow and anery D'OH! I bred the female with other things a few times later but nothing like that ever appeared again lol! _________________ 20 years experience in reptile keeping.

Very very nice! Could you tell us more about how you got them to breed, or how you're keeping them?
thanks _________________ *steps are the only obstacle on the ladder to succes...*

I keep my pair of sarasins at temperatures of around 70 - 75 degrees. They are in a 4 foot high by 3 foot long by 18 inches wide vivarium, it is a fairly naturalistic viv with artificial plants, cork bark and branches and an egg laying box in the bottom. I do have a light in with them but it not a UV it is just to give a photoperiod of 12 hours a day.
I didn't do anything to get them to breed they just did it on their own! I think it was the introduction of the female to the male which did it as my male had been on his own for a while and then we introduced the female and within 3 - 4 months we had eggs.
I hope this helps? Any more questions just add them on here _________________ 20 years experience in reptile keeping.

These guys are cool - and the baby is just so cute! I'd love to see a picture of their set-up.
Good luck with the littl'un! _________________ 0.0.3 Crested Geckos - Sid, Kurt & Titch

i sometimes use a mix of perlite and verimulite, at a 50/50 ratio, we have pretty much equal success with both.
I will try and post some pictures of the viv as soon as I can. _________________ 20 years experience in reptile keeping.
