Here in Finland we hear awful stories from Norwegian. That law makes me angry. It just doesn't make any reason why that law exists. Such a narrow minded thing to deny right to keep reptiles. |

Welcome to CaptiveBred
It must be quite worrying though, because you can't just drop your hobby into conversation with the fear of people telling the authorities.
Is there a black/underground market then? How do you find the animals you want without getting caught?
What a daft law _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |

Thank you
yes it is, www.repti.net
It must be several houndred norwegian that a selling and buying there.
The reason its not allowed with reptiles in Norway is because they are afraid that if the reptiles escape they will destroy the wildlife, which i mean is 'cow dung', its very few species of reptiles that would survive here up north.. _________________ Death is Certain, Life is not.

Yeah...in Finland some stupid people keep letting tortoises in lakes and rivers. What will they destroy? Nothing and tortoises will die on wintertime. I don't see how reptiles in captivity could harm nature in north. But isn't Norwegian quite strict with animals. My cat is Norwegian forest-cat suprise suprise from Norwegian and if I remember right - regulation and guarantees are quite strict. _________________ It is nice to be important - but more important to be nice! |
