Well Scales and Fangs opened today (17-5-07), and I have to say tha, even though Dan had said it had been a long perriod (only 5 weeks) they were up and running!

They have a very nice selection of lizards, and some inverts, but what surprised me the most was the young caimen (spelling?) sitting in one of the lower vivs. I wanted it, but managed to come away without it! Any thing they haven't got in store they will happily order for you which normally takes 1-2 days to arrive at the store.

I bought another Emperor scorpian (couldn't resist) and was glad to be the first customer!

Well worth a look, its on the London Rd (A13) next door to the Chalkwell badminton centre. Very Happy

Its a good size, although it was only a small store to start with but the layout is good and well thought out. Its good to visit just to get a feel for the place and talk to the staff who are very willing to help and knowledgable (spelling?).

I spent 15 quid and came out with an Imperial scorpian (glee) a tub of micro criz (for the Mantis) and a tub of wax-worms oh and a free reptile care mag! Glad I went. Laughing Very Happy
