Hi guys just wanted to post 2 pics of my monitors the big guy is named zig and the littler one named bosco. The little one is the same age as the big guy and eats like zig but just don't seem to grow! Aw well I'm gonna be left with a 10" fully grown bosc!!!

Or a bosc short. Not trying to sound nasty or anything but the third pic is quite worrying ... if you look at the tail it has no fat reserves, overall its looks unhealthy and this could be caused by any number of reasons ... stress, parasites, husbandry, etc.

i no hes unhealthy but i don't know why, he has plenty of hides so i don't think i can be stress. he eats like a pig, the husbandry is correct because the bigger one has had the same care and husbandry and he has just flourished, internal parasites maybes but non external, i have even gave him a worm treatment as prescribed by the vet, i just cant figure out whats wrong

Ok so its possible that the larger of the two had bullied the smaller one and claimed the best of every thing for himself (basking, hide places, majority of food) which would inevitably lead to stress, any unnecessary handling will only add to that.

I have read that they have now been separated so time and husbandry practice will tell, I hope you see some improvment.
