[Ziglet]

here is a pic or 2 of my healthy looking bosc Zig and my little unwell one named bosco. they are from the same clutch but the little guy seems ill and very withered, hes under full 7% UV and has calcium on everything, he has no parasites. So y is the Little guy so ill looking compared to zig? and, and, and Zig WAS the runt of the litter!

Can u sex either of them???

Hi ziglet, are they in the same viv? Are they both eating well? I assume all husbandry is correct given that one seems to be thriving. I notice that you have them on sand and chips, bosc monitors love to dig and make tunnels to hide in so it may be advisable to change the substrate to some kind of safe soil (i use cocoa fibre/play sand mix) and make it a depth of 5 or 6 inches.
Although they do tame well they do tend to be quite secretive creatures and require plenty of hides to feel secure, is this catered for?
As for sexing, it is hard to sex bosc' by looks alone but the males tend to have a larger bump on the nose(if that makes sense). I only know mine is male as he has the habit now and again of walking around in a rather excited state
Also what are feeding them?

iv separated the little fellas due to zings size, im looking to put them onto soil, all husbandary is perfect but i dont understand why bosco is very small thin and withered. also segments of his tail have fell off, the tip just kind of rotted away and died so i waqs forced to snip it off, iv had to snip off three of his toes aswell cos the same thing happened there as with the tail they just snapped and he wasnt in any pain with them either.

Sounds like it might be bad sheds. If the skin around toes etc does not shed correctly this leads to a build up of old skin causing constriction of blood supply to the live skin which in turn will cause those symtoms but this should be confirmed by a vet inspection as is always advisable.
Do you bath them at all ? as this can help the shedding process as can a large water bowl for them to soak in.
As for one being withered this may be due to bullying from the other (it is not always obvious) and not getting as much food. The fact that you have seperated them is good and probably the best idea as bosc's are best kept solitary, but again i have to stress that a vet examination would be the best thing to do

yeah i bath them both regularly and they are both fantastic swimmers, the littlle one prefers swimming more than the big one, i just don't know wots wrong, just wanted to no if any one else had experienced this in there boscs

A mid level of humidity within the viv and a large water bowel for soaking would help with the problem. A deep substrate (playsand/topsoil or playsand/eco earth) would be ideal if your viv will accommodate it, if not i would suggest a humid box for hydrating and digging.
