I know some of you have little or no luck with keeping plants with monitors.
I know my Ackies would just destroy the plants I keep by climbing on them; the trees would just snap under their weight.
Do anyone found a tree that is durable? |

Don't know where abouts you live but London Zoo has naturalistic setups including plants and trees for their peach throat and tree monitors.
If you live too far away to visit I'm sure there must be a few forum members who will have photos of the animals and enclosures at London Zoo
The new nile monitor enclosure looks like its going to be amazing. we must have confused a few people last time we were at London Zoo because the Nile Monitor isnt in his new enclosure yet but my boyfriend and I spent ages looking in the enclosure to see the setup as we are currently setting up a new vivarium for his salvator monitor, people kept coming over and looking in and going "I can't see him"!!!
lol

Maybe I should explain that my Ackies run around the house from time to time, and they would try to climb some of my indoor trees.
I fear the worst when I hear a bullet going off... only to find that I got a snapped tree. |
