Today something I'm sure you'll all find very funny happened to me when I visited a wildlife park in the southern highlands.
This place has all manner of beasties including lots of native British mammals and a number of exotics. It's a very good place and very well run so I'd recommend it highly.
Anyway I wandered up to the chipmunk enclosure on seeing one darting around at the front. I didn't realise until I got closer that said rodent had actually managed to escape and was trying to get back in (who says animals want freedom). Anyway as soon as I went up there the little sod plopped to the floor and looked a bit cute standing on his little hind legs. I bent down to give him some nosh as the place sold bags of feed at the door. Soon as I stood up again however the rodent decides it wants back up to where it was scurrying around before. The shortest route up was up my trouser leg and so this was the route it took. I managed to get it onto my arm which it then ran up onto my shoulder then took a flying leap onto the enclosure.
Someone please tell me that this kind of thing could have happened to anyone. My friend seemed to think it was very funny watching my dancing around with a chipmunk clinging to my thigh. |

Yes these things happen, granted not often though!
A couple of years ago I was in Holland and visited Apen World. One section had loads of small monkeys free roaming these were very tame and were notorious pick pockets so everything had to be secured and out of sight.
I had my favourite denim jacket on, a wee cute orange coloured small monkey climbed up on my shoulder, everyone was saying oooooo, cute etc etc. It then started to make some very cute gurgly type nosies, then proceeded to chuck up all over my shoulder Not so cute at all, it stank for days. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
