He is looking great,i might meet him tomorrow atlast! to me picasso means redbar ambilobe, its a designer name but this is not a bad thing, there are so many different types of ambilobe out there blue bar red bar even green bars!! lol,but i think its better to class them all as ambilobes,a good field trip out to madagascar is needed i think to really know whats what, panthers must cross them self's in the wild and i don't belive there are invisibal forcefields keeping them in certain areas of madagascar Laughing THEY MUST bump into others from other locales and mate producing slightly different colour morphs, just look at a map of madagascar...ambilobe and ambanja are fairly close to each other and chameleons on the out skirts must bump into each other mate and produce offspring, its only the isolated locales on islands that are more controlled naturally such as nosy mitsio, nosy be and nosy boraha unless they can swim?Laughing

"Who is to say that when a lot of the original stock Panthers were shipped over that they were all pure locales anyway? Even harder to gauge, what about the female panthers? I dont know many folk that can identify female panther locales that well."

But would love to hear from someone who can, better still a pictorial female panther locale guide would be superb. Anyone know of any such item please?

I Know no one that can do this rick it is very hard to tell, would love someone to say they could tho.
also i have never seen a gallery of females explaining the locales
Is there anyone out there that can do it??

Yep I think lot of chams especially the new locales are just naturally occuring hybrids and get hyped up for marketing purposes. I doubt very much whether the Picasso is a pure locale either but you have to hand it Mr Pronk he marketed them extremely well! With a name like Olaf Pronk he must have something going for him, good for him is what I say.

Either way I think Franz is a star, and thanks everyone for the nice comments.
