I recently went fishing by a lake in france for a week.
And I saw loads of reptiles.Slow worms.
I caught about 6 grass snakes. Theplace was crawling with the grass snakes.
And before anyone has a go at me for holding this lizard i didnr realise they had sand lizards in france i saw a few.
It wasn't until i got home that i realised it was a sandlizard Cool Laughing
I saw 2 males.

Beautiful looking L.Agilis. I could well be wrong but I don`t think that you broke any laws. I am not sure that the species is protected in France. Does anybody here know for sure? Morbid?
