WOW! Have you been feeding him oranges? Very Happy

What a smasher. I think a Franz baby might be next on my list after my carpets (a few yaers away though probably). When I saw him last he was much redder (not to mention other colours). I wonder if it has anything to do with his new enclosure and all the lovin he's been getting?

I think he is a Tango cham!

Interestingly enough thats a very good point. He is in with a female at present but usually when displaying goes different colours to this. You just never know whats next with Franz, but since being in his new enclosure he has been more the colours in the pictures. he appears to be content and is eating OK so I dont think its a stress reaction. But would be very interested to get anyone else's views on this please, as if it is environmental and is causing him stress I need to do something about it.

I will add some more cover for him in the viv. But he has never been one to hide away and usually enjoys being out in the open, but perhaps he needs to feel a bit more secure in his new home?

I wont be ready in a few weeks, maybe a few months. I'm already getting ear ache from the missus about my latest project which is in the making at the moment.

Maybe I should show her pics of the famous Mr F to save my ears?! Twisted Evil

Exactly if you like a cham then thats what its all about.

Just would be nice if Mr Olaf Pronk would divulge more!

Although there are the traditional locales with well acknowledged markings and colours, even then there can be a wide variation within the actual locale due to naturally occurring hybridisation.

Who is to say that when a lot of the original stock Panthers were shipped over that they were all pure locales anyway? Even harder to gauge, what about the female panthers? I dont know many folk that can identify female panther locales that well.

But would love to hear from someone who can, better still a pictorial female panther locale guide would be superb. Anyone know of any such item please?
