Anybody keeping snake neck turtles (from indonesia i think)?
Amazing looking animals, look like those aquatic dinosaurs!!! I used to have some 6 years ago, was thinking of getting some more, anybody know of any available?

well, I finally found some. I bought a small group of CB hatchlings last week. Just as cute and funny to watch as I remembered. I'll post some photos up when I get a chance. Laughing

(got a couple for sale too!)

Sorry to dig up such an old post but was wondering how you are getting on with your snake necks? I have had one since June and used to look after a really big SN a few years back.

I think they are great animals and very interesting to watch

Was wondering if yours ever came out of water much? I have an Arcadia UV bulb over its rock and it really doesnt seem to be under it very much basking.

My one is about 13cm or so shell length

mine have been doing really well, had them well over a year now and they are 18cm shell lengths.

Never seen them leave the water.

Unfortunately I have just put my two up for sale but did really enjoy keeping them.

Hi Scott,

sorry you are having to sell them... lack of space?

did you bother with a uv bulb on them? What sort of diet and regime did you give them.. just trying t source info as their isnt much out there and no-one seems to want to answer on livefoods forums Smile
