Got this pair this morning. They are settling in at the moment, so I kept the picture taking to a minimum. The male is the wee one, female the big one. _________________

And this is their viv. It slopes up towards the back where the plants are, and I only water the bottom corner to get a moisture gradient. It looks kinda dry in the pic, but I gave it a spray after the newts went in. I was a bit scared to over water it! They have a ceramic water dish at the front, but if they decide to breed this summer, I'll have to rethink the setup to provide a deeper water container! _________________

Really nice Lol...beautiful colour these things. One day will have to get into caudata...don;t have the room for all these wonderful animals. What temps are they kept at? |

They like it fairly cool, so they're in my dining room, which is the coolest room in the house. They tolerate temps between 5 degrees or so in winter up to about 22 degrees in summer. _________________
