I've uploaded a couple of videos of my male lace monitor feeding.

Here he's catching day old chicks hurled at him (so now you know where they all go after easter is over).

Same monitor, different feeding response. Eggs are taken incredibly gently to avoid being cracked. I'm aware a number of other monitors don't eat eggs like this, but every lace monitor I've seen (and others owned by people I've spoken to) eats them like this.

nice vids . it just eats the egg whole and digests the lot then i was waiting for a regurged shell tbh thats very interesting .
