Scott, I'm still surprised yours do so well. Amazing they find enough food and water in the room, even if you do feed them a bit from time to time. I'm tempted to try t he same, but I would really have to feed them because there are only snakes in the room, so no crickets running around. |

Can I ask where where the Phelsuma keepers of this forum get their bamboo canes/poles from. Do you have to order offline or is it easy enough to get hold of elsewhere? _________________ Steve P |

To be honest Ron, they have had to adapt a little. For food they hunt at night , when the lights go off they all travel down to about 30cms off the floor and wait for crickets etc to run past. During the day whenever I'm in the room and I walk past one I always hand feed them a cricket or locust.
Water is the only thing that I haven't worked out yet, I no longer have chameleons in the room so there are NO misting systems, this means theres no accessable water
The room is fairly humid but I still haven't worked out where they are drinking from Very rarely do I see them anywhere near the sink, so I doubt they try to drink from there (not that there's water laying there very often). _________________
