got my crestie finally after god knows how long of planning lol, got 2 pics of his viv, he is in there hiding in the top corner nearest the light, hes resting after a traumatising moving lol, the keeper couldnt get hold of him he kept jumping away and hiding in the corner behind the heater lol
atm got a digital thermometer in that corner and just keep turning the light off when it gets high, that will do for a few days untill my dimming thermo comes, heres pics anyway;
also quick question gotta digital thermometere and i have it in the viv at direct line with the light and outside the viv on the top near the bulb but on the tank still and yet it says tht outside the viv is 80 degrees and the inside is only 73?? do i not really need to worry about that? |

iv got some on order were suppost 2 b here 2day but havnt arrived, hes currently asleep in the top left corner so didnt really wanna disturb him, so soon after finding a place to rest his head. will take some 2night when hes abit more active tho, so either post them on later 2night or 2morro. hes a dalmation tho, and when i got him he was already quiet orange then in the car he turned greyish but the bloke said he fires up well at night, hes about a year old aswell, but he jumped on2 my hand while i was fitting the final bits and bobs
gotta feeding question anyway, got some reptolife (is it anygood?) and 2 tubs of lil crix, my question is a) how can i give him 2-3 without the rest diving out all over the place? and b) how can i dust them with the reptolife with jumpers? the dude said i could put a lil lid full of it in the tank the gecko wont touch it but the crix will b attracted 2 it and eat it. but on the side it says dust the crix with it or gut load them with it just looking 4 ideas hehe |

Nice crestie mate and viv.
I bought a breeding pair last night they have bred and the young have hatched, except they left them in the viv, and they all perished
Saw them advertised, and snapped them up, the poor people who sold them didnt have a clue how much they were really worth. |

He's a lovely looking gecko, also exactly the same as my Turmeric.
I used to have the same problem with mine trying to kill themselves jumping around. These days I make sure that everything is secure in the tank and I've learned to keep a very close eye on them when I put them in the tank until I'm sure it's all safe.
Mind you I don't know how mine don't hurt themselves when they fling their bodies at the glass doors when I go to feed them! _________________

When I first got mine I was amazed by just hoe much noise they can make! I guess I was just too used to my Leos which are pretty quite apart from when they are chasing food around their viv. _________________
