Took this today of one of my griseus. They are around 60-70cm about the same size as an adult tristis.

I am not 100% percent but from my papers it as the local name Baghdad small grain lizard instead of desert monitor.

Very beautiful animals, Sean. I love the placement of the nostrils; you can totally see how their placement is a clever adaptation for life in a desert.
