Hi all,

I'm a 37 year old man married to the perfect woman, living in Toronto Ontario, Canada and this Sunday my wife came home with our first snake. She's (we have no idea how to sex it, but I have a feeling it's a she) a young (maybe 15" long) albino California Kingsnake named Kether. She's settling in well, and in a couple more days we're going to try handling her briefly and feeding her a fuzzy.

We've both read a lot of info on the basic care and feeding stuff and we've got a good friend who's an experienced snake daddy, so we're covered for the basic info, but I'm in full-on new daddy mode and I'm beginning to knock around plans for a vivarium for when Kether's full grown and I have a few questions about that I'm looking forward to discussing as it becomes more relevant.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. Some of the pics and discussions have me riveted already.
