I don't know the growth rate of the Water/Salvator Monitor but... why not just build to its adult size? Guides recommend at least 8' or 12'.

You can always get one of those 300 gallons [63"L x 69"W x 25"H] rubbermaid stock tanks at a livestock store and an enclosure based on that.

But again, it might be too big for your room.

Our baby has just moved into an Aquapac 6'x2' viv, and he has a Retes stack built by my husband. The viv is heated by a Reptile Radiator with a spotlight at the basking spot. He also has a UV tube. Temp at the basking spot is around 120-125 degrees. He has a large cat litter tray for water.

How high is your new viv Lol93. I'm just wondering if he would climb at all. I am just cleaning up some nice big chunks of driftwood that I think he might like to use in his new tank. So I can put some extra height if hes going to use it.

Salvators can grow quickly 3-5FT in the first year. If it were me i would build an 8x4 and divide it into 2 with a movable partition, increasing the space as the monitor grows. I did this with my bosc monitors enclosure and stored my live food in the part that was not in use.

It measures 6x3x3.5
