A colleague of mine was lucky enough to get away to Malaysia for a couple of weeks, and asked if I'd post a few pictures for her!
Apologies for image sizes, my Photoshop copy is corrupted and I need a new copy.
Chicken on the beach.
Nasty looking Grouper.
Grouper looking less nasty.
Horseshoe Crab (Prehistoric)
Mangrove Crab.
The next 4 photo's are amazing patterns in the sand created by small crabs!

I know, I couldn't believe it at first!
I'm definately heading over there this year, but to take far more pictures of the wildlife!
The large Monitor pictured towards the top apparently slid into the swimming pool whilst my colleague was watching her husband swimming, and he got a shock when it brushed past him! So she got a Photo as it headed back. |

Nice pics. In certain parts of Oz, the beaches are covered by those balls and burrows, amazing sight. Completely blanketed! _________________

That last monitor looks a big lad, where did they go? mainland Malaysia or Borneo what they now call East Malaysia. I saw those balls on the sand too took me while to figure out what was making them though. _________________ www.Reptilebreeder.co.uk

Those crabs certainly do make very pretty patterns in the sand. Thanks for sharing. _________________
