Funny enough I have the odd recommendation.
I like lowepro backpacks. I have the Lowepro mini trekker all weather but tbh I am running out of room now so going to get the natiure trekker. The mini would be fine for you though Pete..can fit a body or 2 plus a few lenses..loads of pockets etc..and comfortable to carry..sells at about £70 now. _________________

Pete..I opted for the sigma..just picked it up..lol..But would still go for the tamron if you don't have a jessops near you.I have 30 days to try this baby out but must admit so far so good!! Its a big old piece of glass too!..
You can buy my 18-70mm if you want to save a few quid.. Its a good lens but I needed a faster lens. _________________

Well the washing line got the first lot of abuse!..pair of chelsea shorts and a couple of bird feeders!..these were taken wide open at 2.8 and still came out quite sharp so for now happy!
