Have you got any other pictures of Niko?
He doesn't look good at all.
Do you know how old he is?

He has NO fat reserves at all left in his tail.
Has he been to the vets?
because at 5 months old he should have a good healthy fat tail. _________________ Regards, Paul.

I took him to the vets who claimed the dealt with leopard geckos she told me to keep trying him with food and not to worry he would surely eat soon but i don't trust what she said just looking at him gives me plenty reason to worry and the fact he still hasn't eaten adds to it I'm going to take him to hopefully a better vets this week.
I'm so scared for him I'm not intentionally a bad owner i don't know what I'm doing wrong just cant get him to put any weight on _________________ Altogether i have a zoo of 45 scaley's and slimey's

It doesn't sound a very good vet, did they not give you any liquid food stuff?
Take him as soon as you can to a proper exotic vets.
What have you been trying to feed him?
has he been drinking?
How long have you had him and how long has he not eaten for?
is he in his own enclosure?
thanks Paul _________________ Regards, Paul.

Nope No liquid food told me to keep trying the crickets or mealies.
I am going to try and get him an appointment asap.
I have tried small black crickets dusted and undusted and mealworms and tried waxworms just to see if he might be interested but just ignores them.
Yes i have seen him drinking out his dish and he often sits in his wet hide and licks the condensation of his face.
I have had him roughly a month and he ate really well the first 2 weeks about 5 small crix at a time. He hasn't eaten that i have seen for about 3 weeks he might of got the odd 1 cricket but i always count the amount i put in and take out.
He is in a 2 ft wooden viv on his own with 4 hides
thanks for your help Paul

Its ok!
Well all you can do is go to the vets and see what they say.
Did he have any fat reserves in his tail when you bought him?
because I dont see how he lost that amount in just a few weeks because they can live off it for quite a while.
You could try cutting the wax worms in half and putting it on his nose so he can smell the juices.
Or you could try not giving him any food for a week and then give him what he used to eat but he just seems so skinny and It would be best for him to eat asap.
