They are gorgeous. If they were mine, I'd want to show them off too!! I'm really interested in Leopard Geckos, and have recently been reading quite a bit about their care on the net and in books. Was it easy getting them used to being handled?

Aw thank you hun i think they are the best
The adults were already quite tame but love my cuddles and kisses even more now hehe and the baby was very skitty but has settled right down loves nothing more than sitting on my shoulder while i watch tv i only started keeping them about just over a month ago always been interested in them . lol its funny seeing the male making his advances to mango (his lady friend ) they are great love them to bits wouldn't be without them now hehe just a bit worried about Niko because he is so tiny and isn't doing very well on the feeding but fingers crossed he will get his act together .
Thanks again

I hope wee Niko picks up soon. I had the same problem with my Beardie (only got her at the end of December). I discovered she had coccidia, and I was really scared I would lose her, as she was hardly eating at all. But after giving her medicine from the vet's for a number of weeks, and lots of TLC, she's eating like a wee pig now!! She's also putting on lots of weight, so she might turn into a porker if I'm not careful
Did you get your Geckos locally? I live in Falkirk (well Grangemouth to be precise), and the only reptile shop close to me is Rintouls, in Bathgate.
If there are any in your area worth going to, I'd be interested to hear about them.

Iv only got 1 reptile shop near me and they only ever have males in which is a pain in the bum and they never have exciting morphs just usually the normal morph. I got Niko from a place in fife called critterz but i wouldn't advise going there because Niko has always been skinny but i thought it was his age but im starting to think its more than that and they are so overpriced i paid 280 for Niko and a 2ft wooden viv and some old used sand(they told me it was calci sand but later found it wasn't) and a couple of other bits and bobs.
My other geckos i got from my local ad trader and classifieds on the net i am getting 2 baby females from a couple in Southampton who are very nice they have a website worth a look its www.thelizardwizard.com my 2 girls are numbers 60 and 62 cant wait for them to arrive.
Is rintouls any good? was going to set a day to visit it sometime.

Thanks for the info Gemma. I had a look at the link you posted, and saw your new babies. They have beautiful markings - I bet you're really excited about getting them.
I do like Rintouls, as all their animals look really healthy and their enclosures are kept clean. I got my Beardie and Corn snake from there, and also my Fire-Bellied toads. The owner thinks that my Beardie might have gotten coccidia from the tortoises (not sure why she would have been in beside a tortoise!!). Some of their prices are a little high, but it would be well worth having a look at what they have.
I had been going to go to Critterz (sure it's in Kinghorn), for a run, last weekend, but I'm glad I didn't bother now.

I am very excited cant wait once iv got them that will be my Leo families complete(ha right then till next pay day lol)
I will need to have a wee trip through then just for a nose lol
Critterz claim they have a herpetologist there but iv heard different, i tried emailing critterz explaining my concerns for him and tried phoning and got nothing back and i was so tempted to take Niko back to the store but i fell in love with him straight away i even borrowed the money from about 3 people to get him a week before planned lol i just feel its unfair on animals to sell sick animals because the added stress of moving isn't going to do them any good and i wish i had my thinking cap on before i paid for him but i would never hand him back now no matter what the out come is he's my wee baby.
Jeez i ramble on so much il shut up now lol _________________ Altogether i have a zoo of 45 scaley's and slimey's

You're not rambling, I do know what you mean!! (My partner tells me I ramble all the time, but I just ignore him )It's a really bad sign that Critterz won't even discuss the problem with you, and so much for their herpetologist! Not much of an advert for their shop either.
Have you taken Niko to the vet, and had a feacal sample done? Maybe that would shed some light on his problem with not eating. I go to a vet in Falkirk, who knows lots about herps, so I trust him to give me the best advice.

i took him to 1 vet that clearly didn't have a clue told me just to persevere there is a vets but they are asking for 36 pound just to see him and i know u cant put a price on an animals health but i just feel if i pay that much for them to look at him its less money i have to get him back to normal but there is another vet in town and 1 of the vets are specialist in reptiles and herps so fingers crossed and if they re not any good il be coming to yours lol _________________ Altogether i have a zoo of 45 scaley's and slimey's
