Ours is a bit mental too, but I've found a knack of grabbing him behind his head, and he calms down quickly once you've got him. I only handle him when he's getting cleaned out, though.

I thought about a free roaming tokay to get escapee crix, etc, but the thought of poop stuck to my nice clean walls put me off!! Laughing

Very nice tokay. Definately not a normal or even a pale normal, though I'd call it Amelanistic rather than Albino myself. Absent blue/melanin, but alot of red pigment present all over.

It is the eye than cinches it, that is so far away from being a normal eye. A normal eye is yellow with grey/black marbling or veining and a black pupil. Even the most yellowy-eyed ones don't look as amber as that animals'!

i actually just read on a website of a woman who kept 51 if i remember correctly and ALL of them, she claims, are very calm and some a leopard gecko tame.

That first pic on this thread is amazing i really like that,looks very eye pleasing.
Not too sure on all this "Transparant" stuff tho,they look a bit too engineered,For my taste
