I was burgled in 06 and they took some stuff but they killed my six Beardies and my two Boas the female of which was gravid at the time. I was devastated i didn't care about my stuff just my pets that i'd had for years. Crying or Very sad

They never caught the gits who did it. Crying or Very sad

I was so sad I cried for days after! (not ashamed to admit that either).

I know exactly how you feel, im insured for the other stuff, but my pets will never be replaced.

Update on Irwin

He is back after a night at the vets and has eaten. Vet reckons he wasn't outside for long when i found him, which is a blessing.
No news of the others yet, i guess my snakes are not on the list of police priorities at the moment, but I'm resigning myself to the fact i wont see Reg, Dick or Liddy again.

In future i will be padlocking my vivs and securing them. My b/f has attatched a metal rail to the wall to i can chain the vivs up.

It hasn't put me off collecting but its certainly made me more security conscious. I hope some members here have learned not to take yr security too lightly as id hate for anyone to go through what i just have.
