Just wondering Rick, do all females have the stubby horn, or is this one just extra special? And how dwarf is dwarf, they still look a reasonable size, just wondering on how big they will get/are currently.

They are at adult size now and fit snugly in the palm of my hand some Jacksons females have a horn some dont it can vary with the Jacksons sub speices, also if Rostral or preocular.

If you compared the Jackson Merumontanus with say the Jackson Jacksonii you would see a distinct difference in size. SVL for the meru is 3.1 inches, xants is 4.9inches and the Jackson Jacksonii is 4.13 inches SVL .

Horns:
Rostral Horn in females: CJJ Prominent, CJX absent or reduced, CJM prominent.

Preocular horns in females (two horns above and in front of the eyes): CJJ from absent to fully developed, CJX absent or greatly reduced in size, CJX absent
