They are at adult size now and fit snugly in the palm of my hand some Jacksons females have a horn some dont it can vary with the Jacksons sub speices, also if Rostral or preocular.
If you compared the Jackson Merumontanus with say the Jackson Jacksonii you would see a distinct difference in size. SVL for the meru is 3.1 inches, xants is 4.9inches and the Jackson Jacksonii is 4.13 inches SVL .
Horns:
Rostral Horn in females: CJJ Prominent, CJX absent or reduced, CJM prominent.
Preocular horns in females (two horns above and in front of the eyes): CJJ from absent to fully developed, CJX absent or greatly reduced in size, CJX absent _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
