|
|
Hi.
I have been building up my Dubia roaches for last 5/6 months. when do those of you who breed them start using them for feeding? i have used the odd few & then only males. do the females store sperm? i have a smallish collection of reps 2 chams & 5 dwarf monitors. also how often do you clean them out? when i recently cleaned mine out, i found lots of litte stripey worms, hairy worms & small black beetles. do these do any harm to the nymphs?
Regards.. |

Hi,
I guess it depends on how many roaches you have?
Dubia usually sit around doing little for the first few months, and then explode. If you are worried about feeding them off, then you prob don't have enough! I take about 50 adults and 50 nymphs out once or twice a week without reducing the numbers noticeably.
I clean mine out about once a year.
Cheers,
Mark. |
