Just wondered what depth Crested Geckos lay eggs at? I have got a nesting box in, and I'm just wanting to know if I will know that eggs have been laid (They show at surface), or for when I do have a look in, how far down should I be looking?

My two females completely bury their eggs in the substrate, about an inch under. You wouldn't know they were there if you hadn't seen them digging in it for a night or two before they lay them. My old female used to leave hers on the surface tho.
