I never spray my adult Cresties or Aurics, and they in real good condition, have no retained shed and are laying good eggs,I think as long as they have clean water and a moist tub of peat their going to be fine.I do spray my little ones every evening though. |

Okay thanks. I wont worry about it to much then.
On another note. Does anyone ever have problems when feeding crickets in a jar? Sometimes they try and attack the bottom of the jar when the cricket runs by instead of going inside of the jar lol. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/jackalpupz |

Question, what is the lowest safe humidity dry level for them? If the enclosure doesn't get sprayed often, the humidity drops pretty quick all the way down to around 50%. |
Hi, welcome to the forums.
With regards to humidity, I don't think it's too crucial at all for adults or subadults. So long as you provide a high humidity hide (a plastic ice cream tub filled with damp peat with a hole in the lid for access). I don't spray my adults EVER, they have had no other source for water other than a bowl for over 2 years now.
Babies and young under 2" DO NEED higher humidity though _________________
