I use a mouse bottle as a dripper, just nip the end so it drips a bit, the trouble with waterfalls is the bacteria build up, and the crix hide in them. i just spray and use a mouse bottle as a dripper, i just poke the nozzle through the mesh top and it drips slowly _________________

I don't have a waterbowl in mine for two reasons - firstly, I doubt they'd use it and secondly, if they did, they would have to venture to the floor - making them feel more vulnerable. I just spray regularly enough to give them an opportunity to drink. I have only seen them drink once though - so don't worry if they don't seem to react to it immediately.
Good luck with them,
My enclosure:
It has changed quite a lot - the fern has pretty much kicked the bucket due to being ravaged my crickets, but the pothos has pretty much taken over, and the plant at the back right (can't remember the name now!) is doing fine. _________________

Hi Tom i would keep them as two separate pairs, i have seen two males nearly kill each other before, they can be nasty little so and so's on saying that i have kept large groups in bigger tanks with lots of cover and there have ben no problems its all a learning curve _________________

I shall avoid the waterfall then though that's a great idea about using a mouse bottle as a dripper!
Goose, thanks a lot! That would be fab! How long have you had your pairs for? Did you get them locally? _________________ Sophie

No we got them at Hamm. They are not quite adult yet I would say, but my girlfriend thinks she might have seen a pair mating this morning. If we do get eggs does anyone know the best method of incubating them? _________________ Tom

temps: 20 celsius to 23 is perfect - so no incubator necessary
humidity: as much as possible (keep the medium moist, but not soaking)
incubation time: apparently, from 40 days (for warm incubation) to over 60 days. _________________

So in theory eggs not found in the vivarium stand a chance of hatching? _________________ Tom
