have a look. once each month iīm feeding more then 100 grasshoppers to them. they really like it to hunt for them

Great species and a good piece of film, really shows the movement and alertness of panoptes. You really can't beat the Australian varanus. |

very nice animals - the last video really shows their dexterity -- what else do you feed them? They look quite slim - also what size are they?

i feed them all kind of insects. mostly roaches and of course rodents and sometimes chick.
and your are right, concerning other panoptes i have seen, they are slim. but i think they look like monitors should look and not so fat, as many keepers keep them. i like it more like that. check the pics in other threats, there you could see that they are very healthy aso...
the male is about 1,4m and the two females 0.9 till 1m. didnīt measure them.
