Well I bought a baby veiled cham. Breeder at the expo said she was 2 weeks old. I was, of course, nervous about raising such a young baby, but she's done great. She's 9 months old now. Very active, piggy little eater, she's great. Only thing is.... she's barely 3 inches long! Is there really that much variation in size, or is she just some sort of "dwarf" veiled... or is she a different type of cham altogether? Any thoughts? |

they are illegal to own because they are in danger of extinction... i was informed today that chamaleo chamaleon grows slowly then the yemens and the other species... its incubation is from September until June of the next year...
It really looks like a chamaleo chamaleon... or a very bad yemen... |

Maybe a Chamaelo Africanus from Nigeria. High likelihood of it being WC. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

and i must say, ive kept and bred a few of these chams and they are great... bur they prefer rather large vivs... not so much humidity as the tropical species... warm during the day and colder in the night... they hibernate during winter. |
