I use vermiculite to incubate the eggs, but mine lay their eggs in their moss hides then I just transfer the eggs. I have some eggs incubating in moss as I wanted to try this as moss is meant to have some anti-bacterial properties which may help protect the egg. I am no lep gex expert by any stretch of the imagination but just thought I would try the moss thing. Has anyone else had any luck using moss for incubation?
Gestation is quite short, I have never actually counted the days probably about 20.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk

I have eggs cooking right now too, this is my first time. How easy are they to get feeding when they are so tiny?

Mini mealworms and then small crickets is what I am trying. _________________ www.rickslivefood.co.uk
