Hi

I currently keep about 20 snakes of various species (the collection is still growing)that are eating rodents ranging in sizes from mouse fluffs to medium rats. I'm going to start breeding my own rodents to cut down of the food bill a bit. Just wanted to know a bit more about rodent breeding cycles and litter sizes etc etc. How many breeding pairs of mice/rats should I start with?

Are their any licenses or regulations etc I should be aware of with regards to breeding and killing the mice?
