hello eevryone, i am going to get an exo-terra on the weekend (18 x 18 x 24) and i am looking to do a fake rock structure, likje this one:



and i was just wondering if paint is bad for the cresties?? i would of thought it was, but this guy has done it. Also he put bits of sand on it, so that it looks more rock like, is this bad for the cresties too? ALso can i get polystirene from B&G?? How much is it roughly?

I'm afraid I can't help with your questions regarding the fake rock, however, I would have thought for Cresties, a more planted and Arboreal set up would be better. There are some great examples on this forum.

yep, I wouldn't really recommened fake rock, go for a planted viv instead Wink

no im definately going to have plants and everything, but i am looking to have the fake rock in the bottom, with a hide and stairs and sutff, but the crested will sitll have plants to climb in. Anyone know what i can do then?

Yep, a nice cocofibre back panel with live plants would look great.

Even that fake rock on the floor could be a bit too hard a landing site for all their jumping around they do Wink

www.dartfrog.co.uk do a good selection of things like that. Very easy to spend a lot of money though! Smile

Cornish crispa are probably a bit cheaper if you want coco panel Wink
