Very easy, I think they are really underrated as a beginner species. They are very hardy grow to about a meter and eat like crazy! I really want to get a female for my male but they are rarely offered on trade price lists or in shops Sad One day....... Wink

I fully agree. They are fantastic snakes. There are also a variety of colours available that all have there own subtle beauty.

With the irridescence they look like mini D'Alberts pythons.

Have found they can be a bit tricky to get started as hatchlings. I found that they have a preference for much larger prey than you would typically offer. Hatchlings would refuse pinky mice, that were about the "right" size, but take rat pinks that were huge!!!

Adults always amaze me with their capacity for food.

Damn, I've got to get some more now!! Laughing

Cheers

Wow! Ireally like those Cool And yes they are incredibly greedy. When I first had mine though he could only physically eat tiny pinks or a pinky with its legs removed Laughing Will eat anything now I reckon, hmmmmmmm I seem to be missing a cat Wink

I have a pair (and naughtiness was spotted about a week ago...) and love them to bits!

Thought I'd help you out by posting the best photo I ever got of the iridescence - this is the female after a shed...

I'd love a pair of Auroras, but am still hunting...
