hiya i dont no if this is a problem but my geckos seemed to have darkened alot recently the blizard is now grey and the super hypo has gone from bright orange to a greyish orange colour?
does anyone know what could have caused this? ive turned up the temps thinking they might just need some warming up but they have still stayed dark anyone have any suggestions?
cheers stu

I heard from somewhere that once a leo goes dark because its too cold, it'll never get its full colour back again even if you do turn up the heat again.

Hope thats not true Confused

Hi

I don't know much about leos and not heard that they changed shades of colour. I will say though that when i got my three adults ( 2 x leucistics 1 x tangerine carrot tail ) they were pretty dull even after shed but they have since really brightend up.

Obviously im not complaining.

Just my 2p's worth. Smile

this mostly happens with blizzards, hypo's and patternless, but in general it can happen with them all, I have noticed a difference between my leos heated by mats and the ones heated by bulbs not sure if they light makes a difference too? Very Happy
