The female shed a few days ago, a fascinating process on an animal which has no way to easily manually remove it.
One odd thing that scared me was to tear the eye turret skin, the female decided to extend that eye, to twice its normal length. Really freaked me out, thought something had gone wrong! Anyone else seen this behaviour?



BTW, that is a cut in the skin she's shedding in the pic above, not her real skin.

She also twirled her tail to rid skin and scraped it off on branches.

Tom i have seen it many times, its amazing when they shed, its like they split right down the middle sometimes
