looks great.....you'd never know it was a wooden shed from the inside! How long did it take to do? did you insulate the floor? _________________

Didn't take too long for hubby to do lol, well few months but mostly weekends, called in a few favours with friends
The floor is not insulated as such but there is a chip board floor, on top of the shed floor, then the carpet, the wall & ceiling done with celotex, then plasterboard.
It does hold the warmth very well and this weather atm is a good tester for that!! _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |

That's a great space you have there. I am hoping to put a small shed in my garden for the reps. I recently partioned part of the garage, but I really miss the space, so I am making the area smaller at the moment, with the view to moving it all to a shed by the summer.
Unfortunately, I am currently in rented accomodation, so I have to avoid doing anything permanent. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |

Yup the kettles in there - along with my hair dryer lol and yes I have been known to run down the garden to dry my hair in there lol.
We didn't want it to feel like a shed inside, so we did try on that side. Got me old sofa in there too, just to relax.
Thankyou for the lovely replies...we are sooo glad we did it, great having the one space for them all. _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |
