Hi, been reading the site for a while now. Thought I would join up so can ask some specific questions on Argentinian Horned Frogs. I have two, one normal the other albino (the normal i have has for about 5 months, albino for about two). I was feeding on pinkies, until told that it would cause liver damage, so switched to crickets and locusts about 2 and half months ago. I have now been told (yesterday) that it has now been discovered that there is a risk of stomach rot as they cannot digest them completely. Recommended to feed pinkies and birds (day old chicks). I am now completely confused. Has anyone else heard this risk about feeding crickets and locusts? and what do you feed yours on. |

hiya just wanted to say Hi and welcome to captivebred, you are better posting in the amphib section with your questions, I personally have no idea as I have no experience with amphibs, but if rickeeze or peter parrot to name just 2 see it they will surely help!

Welcome to captivebred. A combination of all the foods that you mentioned for your frogs is best rather than too much of one. _________________ YSBRYDOLI POBL, GWELLA LLEOEDD
