Hi! I'm Jim, but for some strange reason everybody calls me Gimmers or Gimbo!! Well it started as Gimbo which is supposed to mean Jim the Gimp, however I want to make clear that I have no intentions in my lifetime of dressing up in a rubber suit and shoving a rubber ball in my mouth!! No offence towards anyone who may dabble in that!!!
I warn you now I occasionally ramble on!
Anyway..... I've been keeping Reptiles a few years, and have kept a vast range in that time, although mainly Lizards!
I just thought I'd join this forum as I don't know too many herp enthusiasts and this forum is the best I've seen online!!
Here's a list of the Reptiles that I've kept...
White's Tree Frogs 1.2
Corn Snakes (Many phases)
Beardies 5.15
Gold Dust Geckos 1.1
Plated Lizards 1.1
Plumed Basilisks 1.2
Ackies 2.6
Yemen Chameleons 1.2
Californian long nosed Rock lizards 1.2
Uromastyx Geyri 2.4
Uromastyx Aegypticus 1.1
Uromastyx Occelatus 4.4
Uromastyx Hardwicki 0.0.2
Shield Tailed Agama 1.1
Desert Horned Lizards 2.4
Desert Iguana 1.0 (Unable to find any more)
Bosc Monitor 1.0
Argentine Black and white Tegu 1.0
Rainbow skinks 0.0.8
This isn't what I currently have, just what I've had in the time that I've been keeping reptiles.
Cheers! |

Please note that this is Gimmers, I just had a problem with my account, and had to re-register as Gimbo!!
Thanks for all your comments!
I currently only have the Skinks, I should be picking up a Trio of Mountain Horned Lizards )Acanthosaura capra) on Friday, but may have to postpone it a week due to damaging their viv today (gutted!)! They are absolutely stunning lizards as you can see below! I intend to build my collection up again, but I'm now limited in space to my previous residents!
However... This is a list of what I intend to get shortly
Desert Iguana's, and Chuckwalla's (Providing I can find them!)
Desert Horned Lizards (I love them!)
Collared Lizards (Never kept them but they appeal to me!)
Pretty much most Californian Reptiles
As many Uro's as possible.
Oh and if Possible some Lacerta's preferably Viridis, but depends what may be available in the future!
Males
Females
